Money raised with each event through the foundation will be going directly to C.S. MOTT Children’s Hospital within the Neurosurgery department and Dr. Cormac Maher to help Spina Bifida research and improving the lives of their patients. ‘Carter & Friends’ is working with MOTT to raise awareness and funds for Spina Bifida and the research within the neurosurgery department.
The Carter & Friends Foundation began their first event on May 17th, 2015 and in the 2015 year held a total of five events. In a matter of just five months we were able to raise over $5000 to give to C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital.
As the 2016 year has begun, Carter & Friends has six planned events throughout the year with more in the works. We are very excited for the 2016 year and what it will hold for the foundation.
